To celebrate this, the Ohio Ocean Foundation curates distinctive events blending our favorite hobbies with the ocean. Have a unique skill, hobby, or interest? Clothing Swap Party
The Ohio Ocean Foundation teamed up with Malone University’s environmental club (MEAP) to host a clothing swap! What’s a clothing swap? It’s simple. Bring some gently used clothing items you no longer wear and trade them for something else. Better for the environment, and better for your wallet!
Film Screening + Panel
Thanks to the generous support of the Herbert W. Hoover Foundation, the Ohio Ocean Foundation partnered with the Canton Palace Theatre for an unforgettable evening. We hosted a screening of A Plastic Ocean followed by a panel discussion of experts on plastic pollution.
Global Teas + Seas
In partnership with the Ohio Tea Company, the Ohio Ocean Foundation hosted a complimentary tea tasting while guests enjoyed presentations about Ohio’s connection to the ocean and the sustainability of teas around the world. Stay tuned for a repeat of this sold-out event!
